The 2024 draft has been properly hyped for a few years, with talents such as Marvin Harrison Jr. Those positions need to perform exceedingly well on their rookie contracts to warrant extension discussions, but the advancement in the college game has allowed NFL teams to find these answers quicker and quicker. Many organizations cannot afford multiple years of development with players such as running back or quarterback, of course for very different reasons. The league is rapidly moving towards schemes that thrive on efficiency, creativity, and ready-made players who can contribute. Stay with us all off-season long as we’ll be bringing you 2024 NFL Draft coverage as well as dynasty rookie content. Today, we’re doing an early 2024 1QB Dynasty Rookie Mock. Round 4Ĥ.2 Dez Fitzpatrick, WR, Tennessee TitansĤ.4 Elijah Mitchell, RB, San Francisco 49ersĤ.6 Cornell Powell, WR, Kansas City ChiefsĤ.8 Ihmir Smith-Marsette, WR, Minnesota VikingsĤ.9 Jaelon Darden, WR, Tampa Bay BuccaneersĤ.10 Tommy Tremble, TE, Carolina PanthersĤ.Welcome back to another dynasty fantasy football rookie mock draft. He should earn snaps immediately in the slot and may already be the Lions most complete route runner. Brown has a massive opportunity on a Lions team that has nothing but outside wide receivers. While I wouldn't begrudge anyone taking the quarterback who went in Round 2, I would not feel comfortable passing on either of these wide receivers for what is likely a backup quarterback. Brown and Rodgers are steals at this junction of the draft. Both of these receivers have injury concerns, and they're far from sure things, but there are no sure things in the second round of a rookie draft.ģ.4 Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Philadelphia Eaglesģ.5 Josh Palmer, WR, Los Angeles Chargersģ.6 Dwayne Eskridge, WR, Seattle Seahawksģ.7 Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelersģ.10 Kyle Trask, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneersģ.12 Anthony Schwartz, WR, Cleveland Brownsīoth St. Marshall gets to play for his former coach and Moore goes to an offense that should be as good as any at getting a player like him in space. I love the fit for both of these extremely talented wide receivers. The depth of this format is well illustrated by the fact that Marshall and Rondale Moore were both available in Round 2. There was an error processing your subscription.Ģ.2 Terrace Marshall, WR, Carolina PanthersĢ.6 Rhamondre Stevenson, RB New England PatriotsĢ.11 Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina PanthersĢ.12 Dyami Brown, WR, Washington Football Team Fields' accuracy as a passer and athleticism as a rusher gives him top-five upside in the not-so-distant future. While it's definitely unconventional, Fields is easily my second-favorite quarterback in this draft and I view him as closer to Lawrence than he is to Trey Lance. The obvious shocker here was Matt Okada taking Fields over Lawrence. Here are the analysts who participated in this mock:Īnd here are the results, with a short blurb on each round: Round 1ġ.2 Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguarsġ.4 Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengalsġ.6 Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelersġ.7 Travis Etienne, RB, Jacksonville Jaguarsġ.9 DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eaglesġ.10 Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncosġ.12 Rashod Bateman, WR, Baltimore Ravens
